Customized Maintenance Programs
Operators are required by local regulatory requirements to maintain their aircraft to appropriate instructions. The operator can use the aircraft manufacturer recommended maintenance schedule or another maintenance program that is developed by the operator and approved by the local regulatory authority. However, due to the resources required to develop an approved maintenance manual, most owner/operator aircraft in private operations will utilize the manufacturer’s recommended inspection program.
For large and turbine-powered aircraft and aircraft in fractional operations, continuous maintenance/inspection program are derived by reliability data, in-service experience and utilization analysis.
Flightdocs can develop a custom inspection program manual that can be presented to regulatory authorities for approval. Our experienced staff reviews maintenance source documentation, including manufacturer’s schedules, local regulatory requirements, and supplemental maintenance schedules to create a customized document for your aircraft’s configuration. All possible variables, such as modification status, part numbers, threshold interval life, and aircraft mission profiles, are taken into account. Local regulatory agency requirements are reviewed and applied based on aircraft operation. To maximize aircraft usage and minimize ground time, analysis of the inspection intervals are performed and inspection packages are created based on aircraft mission profile. After approval of the inspection program manual, the tracking system will be customized to mirror the program. The custom inspection program manual service is also supported with revision service and can be kept current to the manufacturer’s revision level, or revised as required by the regulatory authority. In addition, Flightdocs will assist you with the approval process by supporting the manual and answering any question the regulatory authority might have.
